Moments After GOP Introduces Bill To Shut Down EPA Congress Shuts Down Due To Asbestos Scare

Late Wednesday, Republican Congressman Sam Graves introduced H.R. 5034 also known as the “Stop The EPA Act.” Debate on the bill couldn’t take place the next day when the Capitol Building had to be shut down after inspectors feared asbestos had leaked into the air.

You’d think Congress could pass a bill that makes them immune from all those unnecessary environmental regulations that slow down the business of slowing down congress.

Who knows? Maybe Congressman Graves thinks somebody should inspect the air for asbestos. Maybe there should be some kind of federal agency for that kind of stuff? Nah.
