The Infamous Betty Ford Sketch

This sketch started off wrong and then just got wrongerer.

Our radio show would have long been cancelled if not for a last minute decision to yank this sketch written by Frank Conniff featuring Eddie Pepitone, Kevin Rooney and Chris Pina. It originally aired in 2011.

I rarely find comic representations of drunkenness funny. This, however, had me in tears. I’m so glad you pulled it and weren’t cancelled. I’m even gladder that you have a place we can hear material too “edgy” for Pacifica. Perhaps you should start a special section.

Thanks. More than 20 years sober I agree that drunkenness can be dicey. But this time it made me laugh. We will try to find a place for the edgier material as the web site grows.
