Adam Sandler, Josh Gad and Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage are on a mission to save New York from vicious aliens from outer space. You’ve seen it a million times, right? But here’s the twist: the aliens are attacking New York because they think satellite feeds of classic video games — think 8-bit Atari games like Centipede and Space Invaders — are actual threats to their safety on their home planet. Aliens are so stupid, you guys! Regardless, it’s time to fight! But why Sandler, Gad and Dinklage? Well, Kevin James is the President of the United States and his three best childhood friends were amazing video game players back in the day. However, the President’s buddies haven’t excelled in life the way he has. Sandler fixes televisions, Dinklage is a felon and Gad is a world class conspiracy theorist. But fear not! There to whip this tragic trio into shape is a weapons expert, played by Michelle Monaghan. It’s all part of Pixels, the Chris Columbus-directed Sci-fi comedy flick set to hit theaters May 15, 2015.
