A Look Back at The Week

The morbidly obese bullies Rush Limbaugh and Chris Christie attended Donald Trump’s Christmas party at the White House. When Limbaugh and Christie were shown the Treaty Room they both asked, “Where are the treats?”

Asked what he thought of the West Wing and the East Wing, Christie said, “I prefer my wings with a side of Blue Cheese.”

Stop Blaming Russia for 2016

Blaming 2016 on Russian disinformation is American disinformation. The Republican controlled Senate Intelligence Committee released a report today outlining just how deep Russian interference in the 2016 election ran.

Pelosi Has To Do Better

These are the “choice” words Nancy Pelosi deployed yesterday to “stand up” to Trump: “Mr. President,” she said, “please don’t characterize the strength that I bring to this meeting as the leader of the House Democrats, who just won a big victory.”

Really? This was her Aaron Sorkin moment? Have we set the bar that low for Democrats? What does she even mean? I had to read those words five times before I understood what Pelosi was trying to convey.

If you can’t demonize health insurance companies the same way Trump demonizes that caravan, then you are just as responsible for the fall of our republic as Trump is.

Watching Pelosi and Schumer with Trump yesterday shouldn’t make me feel like I’m rooting for my five-year-old’s soccer team. You don’t get a trophy just for kicking the ball back to Donald, Nancy. Speak clearly. Say something. Believe in something. Or step aside.

Standing up to Trump is a fool’s errand, offer Americans an alternative to rally behind.
